SUMMER 2026
PlacerBlue Fellowship
SUMMER 2026
The PlacerBlue Fellowship by the Placer County Democratic Party is recruiting approximately five young Democrats (ages 15–25) from across Placer County for a targeted leadership and organizing program. Each Fellow will be responsible for a specific individual high-impact project and group projects that expands our party’s reach into the youth demographic.
The PlacerBlue Fellowship is an inaugural eight-week (June 1 - July 31, 2026) leadership development course to transform youth Democrats into trained community organizers. The Fellowship is a 60 hour program (approximately 7.5 hours per week). The Fellowship will utilize a dual-track strategy of combining individual capstones with collective actions. Individually, Fellows will engage in one high-impact project. Collectively, the cohort will work together on specific projects, most notable, staffing a “youth booth” at the Placer County fair and creating a hub for youth Democrats to interact and learn from each other.
PlacerBlue Fellowship application period closes May 1, 2026.
This is a volunteer, non-paid position and you will receive no compensation for any services. There is a potential for a stipend pending grant funding.
