Vote Bottom Up—and All the Way to the Top

Dear Placer County Democrats,

This November, every race on our ballot matters. Our statewide and congressional candidates need strong support, and our local offices play a vital role in shaping our schools, neighborhoods, public services, and daily lives.

Many of these local offices are nonpartisan, which means they appear on your ballot without any party designation. That makes voter education essential. We have strong community leaders running in these races who are also registered Democrats and who bring the values of the Democratic Party to their public service. It’s important that voters know who these candidates are and understand the commitment they bring to their communities.

That’s why I’m asking you to vote from the bottom of the ballot all the way to the top. Begin with our local Democratic candidates, then continue through every legislative, congressional, and statewide contest. Supporting the full ticket helps ensure that local candidates energize their communities, strengthen turnout, and contribute to success at every level.

The Placer County Democratic Party has a full slate of endorsed candidates running for City Councils and School Boards. We will be highlighting these candidates in our weekly newsletter and on our website. Please share this information with your friends and neighbors and consider volunteering to support these candidates by registering for one of the 3 Volunteer Fairs mentioned in this newsletter.

Placer County has a significant opportunity this November. By organizing neighbor to neighbor, paying attention to every race, and casting a vote in each contest, we can help drive meaningful Democratic gains across our county and contribute to victories throughout California and the nation.
