Grassroots Power on Display: PlacerDems Open New Central Headquarters

Grassroots Power on Display: PlacerDems Open New Central Headquarters

A strong political movement needs a dedicated home base. Local organizers, community members, and Democratic leaders recently gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the new Placer County Democratic Party headquarters. The event marked a key milestone in expanding grassroots outreach across the region.

The packed house reflected growing momentum throughout Placer County. Attendees met directly with local candidates who are focused on protecting public education, advocating for working families, and bringing balanced representation to every level of government.

Several candidates and community leaders spoke, were present, or had representatives present during the event, including:

  • Dr. Richard Pan (CD-6), Mike Thompson (CD-4), and Sean Frame (State Senate District 6).

  • Diana James (Assembly District 1) and Nora Parella (Placer County Board of Education Trustee Area 1).

  • Walter Moore (Rocklin City Council At-Large), Ankhesenamun Marioni (Western Placer Unified School District Trustee Area 1), and Jacob Boyce (Rocklin Unified School District Trustee Area 5).

A permanent physical office gives our coalition the operational hub required to scale voter contact, coordinate neighborhood canvasses, and distribute essential campaign materials.
